Shall we address the elephant in the room? 🐘
We’re thrilled to share that Crossed has won the Baby Blue Elephant at Kyoorius Design Awards 2026 for Weather Together - climate card game!
For those who haven’t come across it yet, Weather Together is a collaborative climate resilience game designed to get people thinking, talking and making decisions around climate challenges together. Built on the award -winning DARAJA approach by Resurgence, the game was created specifically for climate-vulnerable communities across diverse cultural contexts in the Global South.
It’s a project that brought together a lot of things we care about - systems thinking, storytelling, play and most importantly, designing for real-world Impact. And seeing this work recognised by Kyoorius feels pretty special.
A big shoutout to everyone who was part of making Weather Together what it is! Our team, our collaborators Resurgence and all the people who played, tested and helped us shape it along the way.
